[art #369P]. Limited Edition Print by Steve Dunn.
Shown here in purple, the 1974 Kawasaki 750 H2B
is a motorcycle that became infamous for its
combination of extreme power and challenging handling. At the heart of
the H2B was a 748cc two-stroke triple engine that produced a staggering
74bhp which in a bike that weighed just over 450 pounds,
translated to incredible acceleration and a top speed of around 120mph.
The H2B's power delivery was brutal and unforgiving, especially for
riders unaccustomed to such a raw performance machine. However, it was
this very nature that made the H2B legendary, attracting thrill-seekers
and speed enthusiasts. The 1974 model featured a slightly more refined
design compared to its predecessors, with subtle changes in the frame
and suspension aimed at improving stability. The H2B's styling was
aggressive, with bold lines and a muscular stance that made it look as
fast as it was. The Kawasaki 750 H2B remains one of the most iconic
motorcycles of its era, known for its unparalleled power, distinctive
two-stroke sound, and the adrenaline-pumping experience it provided.
