This print shows the brilliant Australian rider Josh Brookes
racing to another victory in the British Superbikes Championship.
2015 was a defining year for Josh as he dominated the British
Superbike Championship aboard the Milwaukee Yamaha YZF-R1. Brookes,
known for his fearless riding style found his perfect match in the
all-new R1 which had undergone a major transformation that year.
Powered by a crossplane crank inline-four engine, the Yamaha supplied
smooth power and exceptional stability, allowing Brookes to exploit
every inch of the racetrack.
Brookes and the Milwaukee Yamaha were a force to be reckoned with
sweeping to victory after victory including masterclasses at Thruxton
and Cadwell Park. The R1's advanced electronics, lightweight chassis,
and superb handling made it the ideal weapon for BSB's fast, technical
circuits. Brookes' ability to push the R1 to its limits, especially
under heavy braking and through fast corners, demonstrated both his immense
skill and the bike's incredible capabilities.
By the end of the season, Brookes had claimed his first BSB
championship, cementing his place in the series' history. The 2015
Milwaukee Yamaha YZF-R1 will forever be associated with Josh Brookes'
sensational title-winning year, a season that showcased his sheer pace
and the brilliance of Yamaha's racebike engineering.
