The John Player Norton famously designed and ridden by Peter Williams is a motorcycle that has become legendary in the annals of racing history. The bike was developed specifically for the Isle of Man TT F750 race and featured a 750cc parallel-twin engine that was heavily modified to produce competitive power. Peter Williams, an accomplished racer and engineer, played a key role in the bike's development focusing on improving the handling and aerodynamics. The JPN was known for its distinctive full fairing designed to reduce frontal area, and which was painted in the John Player No10 cigarettes livery. The bike was revolutionary in its use of cast magnesium wheels and advanced suspension geometry which gave it superior handling on the demanding Isle of Man TT course.
