Few riders have captured the public imagination like Guy Martin, known
as much for his larger-than-life personality as his relentless pursuit
of Isle of Man TT victory. Riding for Tyco BMW in 2015, Guy was back at
the Senior TT, one of the most prestigious and gruelling races in the
world. His Tyco BMW S1000RR was a technological marvel, boasting a 999cc
inline-four engine, cutting-edge electronics, and incredible handling,
allowing his fastest ever lap of the Isle of Man TT circuit in June 2015 - 132.398
mph - just outside the outright lap record of the 37.73-mile Mountain
Course.
The BMW S1000RR, one of the fastest machines on the grid with over
200bhp had given him the potential to win. However the dangers of racing
on the unforgiving TT circuit is something even Guy Martin,
a brave fearless competitor, knows too well. Although 2015 didn't bring him
his much-desired victory, his name remains synonymous with the IOM TT and
the thrill of Tyco BMW's ultimate racing machine.
