This is the iconic Suzuki Katana from 1981 which was the brainchild of the guys at Target Design in Germany. It's still a stunning machine thirty years later!

I recently completed a new painting of the mighty Kawasaki Z1 from the early seventies. The prints are available as either Z1A or Z1B, in a choice of colours, and if you let me know they can even be made with the UK spec longer mudguard, seat strap, and blanked reflectors.
I've also made a brown/orange version available for my earlier Kawasaki Z1 print. Click here.

Christmas was a pretty hectic time for me and now things have quietened down it's a goog time to originate some new artworks. I decided to start the new year with a new Triumph Bonneville painting ... this one's a T140V from the mid seventies. I painted the extra bits to make a US spec version with the smaller gas tank and higher bars.

A true motoring icon, the Aston Martin DB5 has been one of my all time favourite cars since childhood when I first went to see "Goldfinger", and then later we were able to play with models of the gadget filled car in the school playground.

Here's my latest print of the greatest motorcycle GP racer ever, Valentino Rossi. If he'd worn a helmet with a simpler design I could have finished this one a few days earlier!

Congratulations Valentino on your 100th MotoGP win last weekend!

Matt Rimmer has very kindly allowed me to show his photograph of MotoGP star James Toseland signing his print at the Thundersprint in Northwich last saturday. Nice one Matt!

Michael Mitchell, curator of the BMW Car Club of America Foundation sent me this photo showing four of my paintings on display at their showroom in South Carolina. The car in the foreground, a Korman M3 (6 Hour Firestone Firehawk Endurance Championship Race Winner 1987), is depicted in the painting at top right of the photo. The paintings comprise an on-going body of work collectively known as the American Legacy Series, with a limited number of prints being published by the BMW CCA Foundation.
The other cars, left to right, are a BMW 3.5 CSL (winner 24 Hours of Daytona 1976), a BMW 320i Turbo (1977-79 IMSA Camel GT), and the BMW M1 known as "Red Lobster", (winner of IMSA Camel GTO Championship 1981).

My painting of the Suzuki GT750 is now finished showing it in Candy Jackal Blue. The translucent aquamarine colour reminds me of the ocean, and water, while the background seems to be steaming like a kettle, against the colour of a water buffalo. It's strange how I get these odd thoughts from time to time.

A number of people have asked me to create a Honda CBX1000 print and here it finally is. Now I suppose I'd better go and paint the Kawasaki Z1300 to put on the wall with this and my existing Benelli painting, thereby completing the trilogy of magnificent 1970s six cylinder rocket ships!

Red and a black CBX1000 prints are also available.

This new print shows the handsome 350cc Excelsior Manxman J12 from 1939, as suggested by Nigel Wynne at VintageBike.co.uk. Good luck with the rebuild Nigel!

Another great classic Japanese bike, love it or hate it the Gold Wing has been the worlds most successful heavy weight tourer for the past thirty odd years. To make a change from my usual sombre backgrounds I thought it would be fun to do a little mountain scene inspired by the late great American TV artist Bob Ross.

Another great classic motorcycle in the shape of the Norton Fastback. I love the moody colours in this one. This is my first print to be offered in a choice of three sizes, 14x11 inch, 16x12 inch, and a whopping 20x16 numbered Limited Edition print which will be supplied with a small certificate of authenticity to prove that it was created by me. All Steve Dunn car and motorcycle prints since the beginning of December 2005 have been produced by my studio, but this extra certification will give buyers additional verification of that fact, and a second record of it's print number.

A classic Jaguar painting this time, it's the Tony Southgate-designed XJR-6 from 1985 that later competed in the 1986 with Silk Cut sponsorship. I would have painted the Silk Cut XJR-6 but didn't want to start anyone smoking while looking at my artwork!

Two more motorcycle paintings that I've been wanting to do for ages, the mighty BSA A65 Spitfire from 1968, and for me the perfect classic Ducati single, the 350 Desmo from 1974.

This picture shows road racer John McGuinness on the Fireblade at the 2008 NW200. For some reason this picture seemed to take longer than usual to paint, but then if you saw the size of the brushes I used you'd understand why!
